David Harbour is in negotiations to join Pedro Pascal in ‘Behemoth,’ the upcoming Searchlight Pictures feature written and directed by ‘Andor’ creator Tony Gilroy.

Plot details remain under wraps, though Gilroy has previously described the project as centering on a cellist. Gilroy will also produce alongside Sanne Wohlenberg. Production is scheduled to begin this fall in Los Angeles, with release plans to be announced.

The project comes as Harbour prepares to close out his run on Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things,’ where his portrayal of Jim Hopper has earned him two Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe nomination. Harbour recently wrapped HBO’s limited series DTF St. Louis and will next appear in the sequel to Universal’s ‘Violent Night.’

Pascal, meanwhile, has been on top of Hollywood for several years; from ‘Game of Thrones,’ to ‘The Last of Us,’ and more recently, a new adaptation from Marvel Studios ‘The Fantastic Four,’ where he portrayed fan-favorite Reed Richards. The biggest upcoming project on his slate is next year’s ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ from the Russo Brothers.

More details to come.
