The ‘One Piece’ story is heading to Alabasta. Netflix has confirmed Season 3 of the live-action series will be titled ‘One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta,’ adapting one of the manga’s most popular arcs.
Following the Season 2 finale—where Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail to help Princess Vivi—Season 3 will drop the crew into a kingdom on the brink of collapse. A rebellion is being secretly driven by Sir Crocodile and Baroque Works, setting up a high-stakes showdown in Vivi’s homeland.
The new season is already in production and is set to arrive in 2027, about a year and a half after Season 2’s March 2026 release—shortening the gap between seasons.
Netflix is also expanding the franchise with a Lego animated special, ‘Capt. Usopp the Brave & the Straw Hats,’ premiering September 29, and a new anime, ‘The One Piece,’ from WIT Studio.
The live-action series remains a major hit, nearing 100 million views, with Season 2 holding the top spot on Netflix for three weeks and earning a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score.
