Warner Bros. has unveiled release dates for several upcoming projects, including a long-anticipated new film from J.J. Abrams starring Glen Powell.

The studio confirmed Friday that Abrams’ next feature is titled ‘The Great Beyond,’ with a theatrical release set for Nov. 13. Alongside Powell, the cast includes Jenna Ortega, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Merritt Wever, and Samuel L. Jackson. The film marks Abrams’ return to directing for the first time since 2019’s ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.’ Abrams produces the project with Tommy Gormley. Plot details remain under wraps.

Also newly dated is ‘Panic Carefully,’ a paranoid thriller from writer-director Sam Esmail. The film is scheduled for release on Feb. 26, 2027, and features a cast that includes Julia Roberts, Eddie Redmayne, Brian Tyree Henry, Ben Chaplin, Aidan Gillen, Joe Alwyn, Naledi Murray, and Elizabeth Olsen. Esmail and Roberts are producing alongside Scott Stuber, Chad Hamilton, Marisa Yeres Gill, and Lisa Gillan.

Looking ahead to summer 2027, Warner Bros. has dated an untitled sci-fi feature from director Tim Miller, starring Keanu Reeves, for Aug. 13. The project is based on a script by Ian Shorr, with Matthew Vaughn, Aaron Ryder, Andrew Swett, and John Zaozirny producing.

The studio also announced a Sept. 10, 2027 release for ‘The Conjuring: First Communion,’ the next entry in the New Line Cinema horror franchise. The film is directed by Rodrigue Huart from a script by Richard Naing and Ian Goldberg, and is produced by James Wan and Peter Safran. Casting has not yet been announced.

The most recent installment in the franchise, ‘The Conjuring: Last Rites,’ debuted in September and went on to become the highest-grossing film in the ‘Conjuring’ universe.
