Ana de Armas (‘Blonde,’ ‘No Time To Die,’ ‘Ballerina’) is nearing a deal to star in Grant Singer’s next feature, ‘Reenactment,’ joining Benicio del Toro and Cameron Diaz.

The project, being shopped this week at the American Film Market (AFM) by Patrick Wachsberger’s company 193, is expected to begin production soon in Los Angeles. Plot details remain tightly guarded.

‘Reenactment’ marks a reunion for del Toro, Singer, and Black Label Media, who previously collaborated on Singer’s 2023 feature debut ‘Reptile.’ That film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and later became a hit on Netflix, topping its global charts.

Producers on ‘Reenactment’ include Molly Smith, Trent Luckinbill, and Thad Luckinbill for Black Label Media, alongside Wachsberger for 193. Rachel Smith (Black Label) will serve as executive producer with Bradley Thomas (Imperative Entertainment), Ashley Stern (193), and Rick Yorn and Scott Greenberg (LBI Entertainment).

Del Toro recently drew acclaim for his role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s ‘One Battle After Another.’ Diaz, meanwhile, made her return to the screen in Netflix’s 2025 action comedy ‘Back in Action,’ opposite Jamie Foxx.

More details and updates on AFM to come.
