A decade has passed since ‘Fantastic Four’ hit theaters and tanked. Yet, the disappointment still lingers for star Miles Teller. The ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ actor portrayed Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic, in the Marvel/20th Century Fox adaptation.

During a conversation with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, Teller spoke warmly about the movie’s cast and most of the crew, noting his appreciation for nearly everyone involved — with one notable exception.

“I think it’s unfortunate because so many people work so hard on that movie, and, honestly, maybe there was one really important person who kind of f–ked it all up,” Teller said. “But especially as a young actor at that time, it was like: ‘If you want to be taken seriously as a leading man, you got to get on this superhero train.’ And that was our chance. And the casting, I thought, was spectacular. I love all those actors.”

‘Fantastic Four’ (2015) included a cast of Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell, Kate Mara and Tim Blake Nelson.

“But when I first saw the movie, I remember talking to one of the studio heads and I was like, ‘I think we’re in trouble,’” Teller continued. The actor did not specify who he was talking about.
