Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s long-developing ‘Tomb Raider’ series at Amazon has officially added Jason Isaacs and Sigourney Weaver to its cast.

After reports that both actors were in talks, the studio has confirmed Isaacs will portray Atlas DeMornay, a character drawn from the franchise’s canon. Weaver will appear as Evelyn Wallis, a powerful and enigmatic figure eager to take advantage of Lara Croft’s unique abilities.

They join Sophie Turner, who leads the series as Lara Croft—a role previously brought to the big screen by Angelina Jolie in the early-2000s film adaptations.

The supporting ensemble continues to grow. Martin Bobb-Semple has been cast as Zip, while Bill Paterson takes on the familiar role of Winston. Additional characters from the Tomb Raider universe include Jack Bannon as Gerry, John Heffernan as David, and Celebrity Traitors UK alum Celia Imrie as Francine. The cast list also features Paterson Joseph, Sasha Luss, Juliette Motamed, and August Wittgenstein in undisclosed roles.

The live-action series is inspired by the iconic video game saga following globe-trotting archaeologist and adventurer Lara Croft. It arrives as competition to a rival animated project from Netflix, ‘Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft,’ which stars Hayley Atwell and recently concluded its second and final season.

Waller-Bridge serves as creator, writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner, alongside Chad Hodge in the same roles. Jonathan Van Tulleken is set to direct and executive produce. The project is backed by Amazon MGM Studios, Crystal Dynamics, Wells Street Films, Story Kitchen, Michael Scheel, and Legendary Television, with Matt McInnis and Jan R. Martin serving as co-executive producer and producer, respectively.
